ANIMATOR
We are currently looking for Animators to create high quality animations of characters and elements, to convey emotion, movement, action and personality according to the style of the work
Main responsibilities
- Animating for feature films, VFX, TV series, ride films or games.
- A demonstrated passion and ability in animating character performance and lip sync.
- A flexible approach, while setting and maintaining consistent high-standards within the group and staying focused on deadlines.
- Animate a shot from blocking through final animation, working under the supervision of the Animation Supervisor and/or Director.
- Must be open to direction and able to embrace change.
- Read and break down dialogue tracks and plan shots.
- Attend animation dailies
- Pro-actively escalate technical issues to more senior artists or lead
- Assist with project clean up and archiving on an ongoing basis
Requirement
- Degree or equivalent in classical animation, film, or related field, or equivalent production animation experience
- Strong understanding of traditional animation principles
- Extensive knowledge of Maya is necessary

Senior Animator

Concept Artist
The Concept Artist works as part of a team executing CG and traditional artwork, helping to create artwork that adheres to a specific design or “look” of a show.
Main responsibilities
- Exceptional drawing skills in both traditional and digital formats
- Experience creating some or all of the following: environments, hard surface, creature and character design and matte paintings.
- Have a strong background in traditional art skills and demonstrate an understanding of fundamentals like three-dimensional space, composition, perspective, proportion, scale, value, depth and colour theory
- Ensure work is done according to specifications outlined by the Director / Creative team of a show
- Ability to assemble research and reference material that will be influential to clients and design team
- The ability to work both independently and within a production environment.
- Demonstration of strong artistic interpretation skills are also required.
- Assist with project clean up and archiving on an ongoing basis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and significant experience in producing concept art for VFX / Feature films and games.
- Proficiency in design software like Photoshop/ sketchup is required.
- Experience or knowledge of story boarding, cinematic techniques, language and shot composition.
- Portfolio of professional and personal work is a must.

Senior Modeling Artist
We are currently looking for Senior Modellers to create high quality CG characters and environments for feature films, VFX, TV series, ride films or games.
Main responsibilities
- A broad skill set with the ability to work on anything from characters to props to environments and in styles ranging from realistic to cartoony.
- Technical proficiency with building models for deformations (like blendshapes, deformers and muscle/skin simulators) is a must
- Must have the ability to interpret models from both 3D scans or 2D artwork
- Should be able to Model with minimum supervision
- Attend daily reviews to obtain feedback from supervisors.Must be open to direction and able to embrace change.
- Works with production team to determine the look for an object
- Maintains or exceeds consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.
- Expected to mentor and assist entry level modellers
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the success of the team and the project
Requirement
- Degree in fine arts / equivalent with a thorough understanding of anatomy, design and animation or 3+ years industry experience specialising in Modelling.
- Proven experience creating characters to props to environments (preferably realistic) in a production environment
- A traditional arts background with emphasis on photo-realistic character work and environments would be an advantage
- A team player with exemplary communication skills
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues.

Texturing / Look Dev Artist
The Texture Artist works with the production team to execute the desired look of CG models, including complex creatures and/or hard surface models, including ships, real world vehicles and environments.
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for creating the textures, colors, and organic surface qualities needed in the completion of CG creatures and hard-surface models used in production.
- Participates in review and as a team member in determining various design solutions by providing feedback to other members of the production.
- Works closely with Art Directors, Modelers, and other departments in achieving desired look and to ensure all texturing/look dev works through the pipeline.
- Maintains or exceeds consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.
- Pro-actively escalate technical issues to more senior artists or lead

FX Artist
FX artists create CG renditions of naturalistic physical or magical phenomena such as fire, water, clouds, smoke, physical destruction and particulate for feature films, VFX, TV series, ride films or games.
Main responsibilities
- Creating particle, rigid-body, fluid, cloth, fur and/or hair simulations or animations
- Lighting, rendering and moderate level compositing of complex shots under the guidance of the supervisor.
- Using a variety of commercial and proprietary FX tools including Maya, Houdini and 3DS Max and ability to write expressions.
- Working in partnership with other departments to ensure that shots are delivered to the highest possible standard
- Working within the team to determine the various design solutions needed to create the effects.
- Accurately gauge time it takes to achieve tasks and hit deadlines consistently.
- Helping to design solutions involving a more procedural approach in order to create the effects required.
- Continually raises the bar for speed, quality of work and adaptability.
- Documenting various scripts and programs for effective execution of special effects.

Production Assistant
This role provides support and assistance to the production team, liaises with other departments and provides general administrative help for the project.
Main responsibilities
- Gather and collate Production data for Weekly Studio reporting
- Work with PM to create Weekly Studio Reports
- Troubleshoot Production Tracking system as needed with PM and Production Tracking Development team
- Support pipeline processes as needed
- General Production support

Production Coordinator
This role involves managing the artists, schedules and client expectations of all of our work. The primary emphasis is on scheduling, communication and coordination for any given project. It is important this person is proactive and has a personable nature
Main responsibilities
- Work with other Coordinators on the project, keeping shows operating in an organized and efficient manner.
- Establish a process for communicating targets, assignments, and priorities to the team, as well as the overall show daily and/or weekly.
- Schedule, track, and manage assigned work with Production Managers
- Ensure work is on schedule for each department and is meeting internal and external (client) deadlines.
- Check in with artists on a regular basis regarding workload, targets, needs, etc.
- Track client needs, reviews and deliveries to make sure deadlines are met.
- Serve as key communication liaison between all parties relevant to the show.
- Coordinating work for external vendors and establish process for working with them
- Provide updates, priorities, reschedules, and status of all shots at any given moment.
- Anticipate and pro-actively communicate issues to leadership team(s) to reach solutions in a timely manner.
- Point person for organizing dailies/shot reviews, take notes regarding feedback and decisions made and communicate to all.
- Role may require long hours and some weekend work depending on show schedules
